Quite honestly I’m still processing this book and deciding whether or not I enjoyed it. I bounced back and forth between 2 and 3 stars, but decided a 3 because the writing itself wasn’t all bad, it was just that the story didn’t always make the most sense to me. I live in Minnesota, so anytime a book comes along that takes place there, I figure I should probably check it out and I do feel like the descriptive writing of the book was well done.
I feel like the story wasn’t really well thought out, though, and could have been better. I didn’t care for the way it hopped around – other books have done so much more effectively – this one needed work. My overall feeling at the end was just kind of blase.
