Lego Fun

I’ve been a bit busy, which explains my lack of posting. With the help of some Target gift cards for my birthday, though, we decided to indulge in some childlike fun and behavior. We added to our Lego collection.
And then we decided to create a dice-rolling game.

Oh yeah, and that white stuff on the table? I was painting my nails one day and managed to spill a bottle of nail polish remover on it.

Another First!

While driving to work this morning I looked to my right and there on the side of the highway were four enormous turkeys! I think I may have squealed – I’ve never seen wild turkeys before! Too bad it was incredibly busy and I couldn’t take a picture.

Spring!

Spring is here! Our 60 degree weather is supposed to continue, possibly even hitting 70! Also, our bunny friends are back and they’ve grown. One was at the feeder this morning and didn’t mind us going in and out of the door – it just stayed and munched happily away, so I’m glad I’ll be able to get some good pictures of them this year since they won’t be running away as soon as we open the door. We’ve had some blue jays and cardinals and a number of other birds as well, and it fills me with joy to see all the critters coming back and everything coming to life. I can’t wait to start planting flowers and maybe I can find a nice comfy chair for the yard this year. It would be really nice if we could fix up the little patio area down by the horseshoe pits this year as well. I wonder if it’s a project we could start tackling before Josh’s party… Hmmm… it would be awesome. Get some seating down there, some solar twinkle lights or something. We’ll have to see.

Well, I got my hair cut and the pictures aren’t great, but after taking like 30 different pictures, these are the most decent ones. Meh.

And… Josh was home today and the weather was warm and the critters were fiesty, so he got some great shots of the naughty squirrels!!
